Saurians are a warrior race of tribal people that live close to volcanoes, and anything and everything else that managed to grow there. They depend on the nutrient rich soil and naturally occuring magma to hatch their eggs. The result is a battle hardened, iron scaled predator that relies on sheer physical prowess and an instinctually programmed fighting spirit to brave the monster infested worlds of the etha with.

At the noon of their race, they rallied great numbers where much culling could be had, hoarded much ashenlands, ate plenty, lived vigorously and and built honor-bound societies based on the ways of battle at the zenith of their race's pride.

But in recent revolutions, their people die out, the ashen lands grow grey and dull, and their Seeza - blood of volcanoes are disrupted by abominable races of underneath. Most of all, the monsters they fight grew cunning, expanded , used their blood-thirst against them, raised deadly warriors with their small size, and grew with determination since they discovered their people's name: Human.

But what is a saurian that didn't adapt , didn't survive whatever battle came their way, don't ask me - because I have never met one. Today ,they travel in small bands, challenging every race, every civilization at the noon of their prime to meet them in fields of battle and cull them for their strongest warriors to fates that no man has lived to tell.

So in the space campaign i have going on i have the obligatory alien bug race but then i decided to switch up one of the 4th races into sentient rock beings. That runs on the sheer power of belief making them a potent warrior race even in a sci fi setting.

Instead of space ships they ride whole planets. How effed would you be if you had this whole fleet getting smacked by a giant gravity well - or a planet of water. You wont walk right after that.

Sol lately ive been running a live interactive comic on /TG/

Needless to say its been a harrowing and engaging experience to cater and keep up with the requests of a dozen or so anonymous who took this as a wild wild ride into my version of zombie land.

In the end its allowed me to be very concise and fast with my art and allowed me to get off my plot horse and completely run with ideas that was only presented to me by the audience. There is the pre planned stuff of setting up the world andthe concepts of course but the real visceral pacing of surprise, discovery, buildup and cathartic release OF THINGS HAPPENING all occurs on the fly.

Basically the rules were simple. I post pictures on a forum and a present anonymous with a situation. They then respond in kind, and I'm given a good range of options to choose from. The more people participating, the better the feedback usually gets so I get to take the story in very deciscive directions while anonymous sits back and revels at the result of their patience at waiting for a 10-20 minute comic panel/ page to be rendered. [poorly and rushed i might add]

Part game, part comic, all collaborative story. You can kind of see why making and doing this project has been nothing short of an addicting and engrossing experience.

450 pages and still counting. I can't wait to see this in some tangible form that others can enjoy !

BLITZKRIEG DAY 1

SO after a long hiatus I finally found a great reason to put up daily posts again; and thats the fact that I have a completed comic thats in line to getting inked. Theres 22 pages for the first issue so theres gonna be plenty more to post !

Since school is starting literally next week; I figured that I should blow through a good half of the page count starting today, (Friday) and for the rest of the weekend. Luckily I managed to get 4 pages inked (though the 4th is gonna have to wait till the next update) This operation requires me to destroy 4 pages a day which pretty robs me of a social life.
